4DF8 Drone Manual
4DRC 4D-F8
The is a brushless motor GPS drone designed for beginners and enthusiasts. It features a 4K camera, dual-positioning systems (GPS and Optical Flow), and a foldable design that keeps it under the 250g weight limit for easier regulation compliance. 🛠️ Getting Started & Setup
- PROPELLER HAZARD: The 4DF8 utilizes high-torque brushless motors. Spinning propellers can cause severe lacerations. Always ensure the unit is disarmed before handling.
- BATTERY INTEGRITY: Only use authorized 4DFX Lithium-Polymer (LiPo) power cells. Damaged or swelling batteries pose a fire risk. Do not charge unattended.
- GPS LOCK: Do not attempt takeoff until a minimum of 8 satellite locks have been acquired. Flight without GPS lock engages "Atti-Mode," which disables automated position holding and drift correction.
- RESTRICTED ZONES: The 4DF8 includes built-in No-Fly Zone (NFZ) geofencing. The unit will refuse to arm within 5 miles of active airports, military installations, or government facilities. Tampering with the NFZ firmware is a federal offense.
- Navigate the drone to a clear, flat landing zone.
- Reduce throttle (Left Stick Down) to slowly descend.
- As the drone touches the ground, hold the throttle fully down.
- The motors should auto-stop after 3 seconds of ground contact. If they do not, re-execute the CSC command to kill the motors immediately.
Note: This guide is based on the standard 4DF8 configuration. If your drone has a different letter suffix (e.g., 4DF8-S or 4DF8-Pro), the camera settings and binding process may differ slightly. Always refer to your specific model’s manual. 4df8 drone manual
