Armour of God features one of the most dangerous stunts ever filmed without CGI. In the opening sequence, Jackie Chan jumps from a castle wall onto a hot air balloon’s ropes, slips, and falls—breaking his skull and suffering a permanent dent in his head. The real fall (not a stunt double) is actually visible in the final cut. This injury inspired Chan to include a “blooper reel” of his outtakes in future films, starting a signature Jackie Chan tradition.
