Believing the message is from Princess Selenia, Arthur stages a daring escape and uses a dangerous method involving the vine-people to return to the underground kingdom. Upon arrival, he discovers that the Minimoys did not send the message and that it was a trap set by the villainous Maltazard to lure Arthur in and use the portal to enter the human world.
