If you borrowed a dongle from another workshop or bought a second-hand unit without transferring the license, the hardware ID inside the dongle is tied to the original computer.
- Do not run Windows Update on the Autodata PC without first checking for HASP driver updates.
- Freeze your hardware: Do not change your motherboard, boot drive, or network adapter.
- Backup your dongle’s dump using a tool like "HASP Dumper" to create .dmp file. This allows you to use the emulator method instantly if hardware changes in the future.
- Keep a dedicated PC for Autodata 3.45 – an old laptop or desktop that never connects to the internet.
- Disable automatic driver updates via Group Policy:
