Installed Error | Battlefield 4 Origin Is Not

Important Note:

In late 2022, EA replaced Origin with the EA App . While many older guides reference Origin, the error message persists. This guide covers both the EA App and legacy Origin scenarios.

1. Fully exit EA App (right-click system tray icon → Exit).
2. Press Win + R, type %AppData% → Delete the Electronic Arts folder.
3. Press Win + R, type %LocalAppData% → Delete the EA App folder (not the entire Electronic Arts folder if BF4 saves are there – just “EA App”).
4. Restart your PC, then open EA App (it will rebuild cache).
