• Quick Menu: The driver installs a "Quick Menu" utility—a floating toolbar on your desktop. While some users find it helpful for quick scanning, others find it "bloaty" and unnecessary. Fortunately, you can disable it from startup without affecting print quality.
• Printer Properties: The actual driver interface is clean and intuitive. You have standard toggles for:
  1. Install cups and printer-driver-gutenprint.
  2. Connect the BC 96AC via USB.
  3. Open localhost:631 > Administration > Add Printer.
  4. Select the detected USB device.
