COMMAX DP-RA01

The is a wall-mounted room unit (handset) designed for single-house doorphone systems. It primarily functions as an intercom to communicate with a door station and control an electronic door release. Pre-Installation Safety Guidelines

If you encounter a problem not listed here, check your connections with a multimeter first. Nine times out of ten, the issue is a loose wire or reversed polarity. Happy installing.

Do not skip this step. Installing a door phone involves low-voltage electricity, but mistakes can fry the camera or the monitor.

  1. Separate the Mounting Bracket: If the DP-RA01 has a detachable backplate, remove it by unscrewing the bottom screw or sliding the unit up.
  2. Mark the Holes: Hold the bracket against the wall. Use a level to ensure it is straight. Mark the screw holes with a pencil.
