EEPROM Initialization:
Resets the printer to its factory default settings.
Printer shows “Service Required”, “Ink Absorber Is At The End Of Its Service Life”, or refuses to print after prolonged use.
After replacing major parts (printhead, mainboard) as part of repairs.
To clear certain persistent error codes not resolved by normal troubleshooting.
Finalize
: A prompt will tell you to turn off your printer. Turn it off, then back on. The red lights should stop blinking, and the printer should be ready for use. Critical Maintenance Note
