Preparation:
Connect the printer via USB (Wi-Fi resets are often unsupported) and disable any active antivirus software, as it may block the reset tool. Selection: Open the adjustment program and select the model and the correct USB port . Disable your antivirus (false positives are common here)

AdjProg.exefile as Administrator. - Select your printer model: "Epson L382 Series."
- Go to "Particular adjustment mode" (sometimes called "Special Adjustment").
- Look for "Waste ink pad counter" (or "Protection Counter").
- Click "Check" to see the current percentage.
- Click "Initialization" (or "Reset").
- Turn the printer off, wait 10 seconds, and turn it on.
