Technical Report: EZP2010 USB Programmer Driver Compatibility & Installation on Windows 10
For FTDI-based Ezp2010
- Look for "EZP2010 Software V3.0" or "V4.0". Version 4.0 is preferred as it supports more chips and has better Windows 10 compatibility.
- Visit the Official Website: Go to the official website of the EZP2010 programmer manufacturer and look for the "Downloads" or "Drivers" section.
- Select the Correct Driver: Choose the driver that corresponds to your Windows version (in this case, Windows 10) and EZP2010 programmer model.
- Download the Driver: Click on the download link to save the driver file to your computer.
- Run the Installer: Run the downloaded driver file and follow the installation prompts to install the driver.
- Restart Your Computer: Once the installation is complete, restart your computer to ensure the driver is properly loaded.
Step 2: Download the Required Files
- "Device not found" error:
- Right-click the Start button and select Device Manager.
- Expand the section Ports (COM & LPT).
- You should see something like USB-SERIAL CH340 (COM3).
Step 2: Disable Driver Signature Enforcement (Temporarily)
- If the EzP2010 programmer is not recognized by Windows 10, try reinstalling the driver or using a different USB port.
- If the device is listed with an error in Device Manager, try uninstalling and reinstalling the driver.
