Google Chrome Os Download Iso 64 Bit ((full)) -
ChromeOS Flex
Downloading a standard ISO for Google ChromeOS (specifically the version for PCs and Macs called ) is slightly different than downloading a Windows or Linux ISO. Google does not provide a traditional .iso file; instead, they use a .bin recovery image managed through a browser extension. 1. Download ChromeOS Flex (Official Method)
Step 5: Try or Install
- From the live session, click on the status area (bottom right) and select "Install Chrome OS Flex".
- Click "Install" and confirm "Erase and install".
- Wait 5-10 minutes for the installation to complete.
- Remove the USB drive when prompted, and reboot.
- Visit the ArnoldTheBat Chromium OS website (look for the "Special Builds" section).
- Find the latest 64-bit ISO image (usually named
chromiumos_image.iso). - Download the ISO (approximately 1.5 GB).
- Use Rufus (on Windows) or BalenaEtcher (on Mac/Linux) to write the ISO to a USB drive.
- Boot and install as described above.
Extracting the ISO File
- No official Chrome OS 64-bit ISO exists. Any site offering one labeled as “Chrome OS.iso” (not Chromium, not Flex) is likely fake or malware-ridden.
- Android app support only works on FydeOS, Brunch, or real Chromebooks – not Flex or ArnoldTheBat builds.
- Drivers: On generic PCs, Wi-Fi, audio, touchpad, and GPU may need manual fixes (Brunch includes a firmware helper).
- Dual booting: Chrome OS/Flex uses the entire disk by default; manual partitioning is advanced.
