What is a GV Audio Driver?

In the Device Manager, it typically appears as or "GV-USB Wave In" . Common Issues and Troubleshooting

• Open Device Manager. Expand Sound, video and game controllers.
• You should see GV Audio Device (or GV-800 Audio Capture).
• Right-click it → Properties → Driver tab. Ensure the driver date and version match the release notes.

Device detected but no sound

1. Press Win + R, type regedit, press Enter.
2. Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\4d36e96c-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318
3. Find your GV Audio subkey (look for DriverDesc = "GV Audio").
4. Add a new DWORD (32-bit) value named BufferSize.
5. Set its value to 64 (hexadecimal) for 64 samples.
6. Add another DWORD: ForceLowLatency and set to 1.
7. Reboot.
