How To Hard Reset Philips 2200 Ep2220 10 ((top)) Direct

Warning: Before proceeding with a hard reset, please note that this action will erase all user data and settings on your Philips 2200 EP2220/10 coffee machine. Make sure to back up any important settings or data before performing a hard reset.

  • Fill water tank, place a container under spout.
  • Press “Coffee” button without coffee beans → runs a hot water flush.
  1. Turn the machine ON: Press the power button. Wait for the machine to stop heating and whirring. It should be in a "ready" state where the menu lights are steady (not flashing).
  2. Locate the buttons: You will need the Calc/Clean button (the icon looks like a water droplet or bucket) and the Espresso button (the small cup icon).
  3. Press and Hold: Press and hold BOTH buttons simultaneously.
  4. Wait for the Light: Keep holding them down. After a few seconds, the light on the Calc/Clean button will start to flash.
  5. Release: Once that light begins to flash, release both buttons immediately.
  6. Confirmation: The machine will beep, and the lights will flash briefly. This confirms the internal counters have been reset to zero.

Plug In While Holding the Button

: While holding the button, plug the machine back into the power outlet.

  • If the machine does not respond to the hard reset, try unplugging it for a longer period (e.g., 30 minutes) before attempting the reset again.
  • If the issue persists, contact Philips support or consult the user manual for further assistance.
