In front of him sat a fire control panel, its sleek interface waiting for life. To breathe that life into it, Elias opened his laptop and launched Loop Explorer .
- Download: Send a complete configuration from the PC/laptop to the Syncro panel.
- Upload: Retrieve the current program from the Syncro panel to the PC (useful if the original file is lost or for checking an existing installation).
- Site Tree: Shows all loops (Loop A, Loop B, etc.) and devices.
- Drawing Area: In larger systems, you can import a floor plan (JPG/PNG) and drag/drop device icons onto the map. This creates a visual trouble-shooting guide.
- Property Grid: Click any device to see its type, address, analogue value, and threshold settings.
Loop Explorer
is a diagnostic and commissioning tool integrated within Kentec’s Syncro protocol (used on Syncro AS, Syncro, and Taktis panels). It’s not a standalone PC application but a panel-based menu function that provides detailed insight into the addressable loop’s health, device mapping, and real-time data.
