• .RAW (Binary dump): This is the voice data only (filter, envelope, effects). Not the samples. If you load a .RAW, you keep your existing samples but change the analog settings.
• .KMP (Korg Multi-sample Program - Modern): Created by export tools like AWave Studio. You can convert these to load into Kontakt, but reconverting back to the DSS-1 is a nightmare.
