KORG PA Manager
The (often referred to in community circles as the "Korg PA User Bank Manager") is an essential third-party software for musicians using Korg's Professional Arranger (PA) series keyboards. It is designed to manage complex SET files, styles, and sound banks on a PC, saving users from the tedious process of editing directly on the keyboard's small screen. Key Features and Updates
- Style Element Editor – Edit variations (Var1–Var4), fills, intros/endings, CV (Chord Variation) tables, and NTT (Note Transposition Table) parameters.
- Sound (Patch) remapping – Batch-reassign oscillator samples, filter envelopes, LFOs, and FX sends across multiple sounds.
- PC-to-Pa streaming – Stream large custom sample libraries from PC RAM to keyboard via the Link connection (for Pa models supporting sample streaming).
Always Backup:
Before loading a new set created in the manager, use the "Save All" function on your keyboard to a USB stick.
- Full .SET folder handling – Open, create, merge, split, and validate entire KORG Pa backup folders.
- Partial import/export – Extract only styles, only sounds, or only Pads from a .SET file.
- Compressed archive mode – Save projects as
.KPA (proprietary compressed format) for smaller backups.
- Direct keyboard flash writing – Upload final banks directly to the keyboard’s internal user area (via Link).
—you know that managing "Sets" on the keyboard’s small screen can be a slow, painstaking process.
