6. Calibration Procedure (Top-Level – No Gas Analyzer)

No LPI Vialle system is functional without proper software setup. The manual references:

Fuel Switching

: The "Combi-Switch" (gauge) uses 5 LEDs to show fuel levels (4 green for full, 1 red for empty). It allows manual switching between petrol (red LED) and LPG (green LED). lpi vialle technical manual top

2. Safety & Pre-requisites (Top-Level Warnings)

This "liquid injection" technology offers significant advantages: it cools the intake air (increasing density and power) and maintains engine performance nearly identical to petrol. However, it requires specific technical knowledge for maintenance and troubleshooting. It allows manual switching between petrol (red LED)

Symptom:

Rough idle, "Check Engine" light (misfire codes), gasoline smell in exhaust while running on LPG. Technical Diagnosis: Tank multi-valve screws (18 Nm)

Need specific torque specs?

Look for Table 5.3 in the "Top" manual: Injector rail bolts (10 Nm + 90°), Tank multi-valve screws (18 Nm), Pressure sensor (25 Nm). Never guess torque on LPG components.

Why “Top”? Because Vialle’s Liquid Phase Injection (LPI) isn’t your grandfather’s vapor carburetion. It’s a high-pressure, cryogenic ballet happening inside your intake ports.
