Microsoft Office 2016 Arabic Language Pack (32-bit) is a specialized add-on that allows you to change the display, help, and proofing tools of your Office suite to Arabic. While official support for Office 2016 ended on October 14, 2025

Install Office 2016 with Arabic as the primary language (full reinstall) if deeper system integration is required.
Use Office Online (web) which supports Arabic UI and editing without local installation.

Deployment guidance for IT (bulk installs)

Microsoft 365 includes all language packs built-in via Language Accessory Packs.
You do not need the standalone 2016 pack.
However, if you are stuck on Office 2016 for compatibility reasons (e.g., legacy hardware, regulated industry), the Microsoft Office Language Pack 2016 Arabic 32bit remains your only viable solution.

Cannot Coexist with 64-bit Language Packs: The 32-bit Arabic pack will not install if a 64-bit Office language pack is already present. Office language architecture must match the base Office suite.
No Proofing in Some Older File Formats: Some legacy formats (e.g., Word 97-2003 .doc) may have limited Arabic grammar checking.
One Language at a Time (UI): While multiple proofing tools can be installed, the display language (UI) can only be set to one active language per Office session.
