1. No Creative Mode: Alpha is strictly Survival. You cannot fly, you cannot break blocks instantly, and you must gather resources to survive.
2. The Nether: The Nether existed, but it was sparse. There were no Fortresses, no Blazes, and no Nether brick blocks. It was a terrifying, infinite cave of gravel and slow-moving lava.
3. Limited Blocks: You will not find modern features like sprinting, hunger bars, or enchanting. Combat is simple spam-clicking.
4. The Terrain: The terrain generation in Alpha was wilder and more chaotic than modern versions. Floating islands and sheer cliff faces were common.
