PotPlayer ARM64: The New Standard for High-Performance Playback in 2026
Methodology:
To evaluate the performance of PotPlayer on ARM64 architecture, we conducted a series of experiments using a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra (powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, an ARM64-based SoC) and a Raspberry Pi 4 (powered by Broadcom BCM2711, an ARM64-based SoC). - Open Preferences (F5) → Filter Control or Video Decoder settings → choose LAV Video Decoder or system DXVA/Media Foundation.
- For best results, select “DXVA2” or “D3D11” hardware decoding options if the device supports them.
