In v1.0.0, users frequently found that search results returned "dead" magnets—links with 0 seeds that were cached weeks ago. v1.0.1 introduces . Before displaying a result, the client performs a fast handshake with a sample of peers to verify if the file is actually downloadable. If the seed count is zero, it is demoted to the bottom of the list.
Step 2: First Launch
