If you see a download that simply says "v0.20.5" without the update, it might be the initial beta from 2023. Always look for the most recent build date (check the official Summertime Saga blog or Patreon for the hash number).

  • Verify files weren’t corrupted during extraction; re-download and replace.
  1. Download the macOS package (.dmg or .zip).
  2. If .dmg: open and drag the app to Applications. If .zip: unzip and move the app to Applications.
  3. If macOS blocks opening: right-click app → Open → confirm.

  1. Download the .apk file: Look for SummertimeSaga-0.20.5-mobile.apk. Ignore any files named "x86" unless you have a very old tablet.
  2. Before installing: Uninstall any previous version of Summertime Saga. Old save files may conflict. You can back up your saves manually from Android/data/com.summertimesaga/files/saves.
  3. Install: Tap the APK file. Tap Install when prompted.
  4. Launch: Open the app. The first launch will extract assets (about 60 seconds). Do not put the phone to sleep during this process.
  5. Controls: Use tap-to-move and tap-to-interact. Use the back button on your phone to open the game menu.
