- DraftSight (free for 2D) or NanoCAD – similar DWG-based workflow.
- Check your license – Some v21 keys work on newer versions (IMSI occasionally offers grace updates).
TurboCAD Deluxe 21 needs specific runtime libraries. Instead of hunting manually, run Windows Update fully. Then, manually download and install:
- Locate the
setup.exefile. - Right-click the file.
- Select Properties > Compatibility.
- Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and select Windows 7.
- Check "Run this program as an administrator" at the bottom.
- Click Apply and run the installer.
- Reinstall ALL VC++ redistributables from Microsoft’s official site (use the “All in One” repack).
