14344626.zip: Ultrakill.build
Content Preparation
While official patch notes from New Blood Interactive are precise, community-driven data mining has revealed the following changes specific to Build 14344626.
- The Heresy Layer (Layer 6): This layer introduced a stark shift in aesthetic. Gone were the fleshy walls of Gluttony or the dark cities of Lust. Heresy is defined by its "Violent" and brutalist architecture, eventually transitioning into the surreal, non-Euclidean geometry of the Malicious Face. This layer explored the concept of machines that had been cast down from Heaven, hinting at the larger lore regarding the "Great War" between Angels and Demons, and the Machines that were created by humanity to win it.
- The Fraud Layer (Layer 7): This layer mimics the earlier layers of Hell, representing the concept of "Fraud" by presenting false fronts of previous struggles. It culminated in a much more difficult gauntlet of enemies, testing the player's mastery of the movement mechanics introduced in Acts 1 and 2.
- The Prime Sanctum: This build also included the first "Prime Sanctum" (P-1), a secret, brutally difficult level unlocked by obtaining high ranks (P ranks) on the previous levels. This introduced the Flesh Prison boss, revealing lore about the fate of the Angels who fell from grace.
Improved performance in Layer 7 environments to reduce stutter during high-projectile counts. Bug Fixes: ULTRAKILL.Build 14344626.zip
