WinOLS 2.24 is an older, widely circulated version of the industry-standard ECU tuning software by . While modern versions like WinOLS 5 are officially recommended for Windows 10 and 11, WinOLS 2.24 can still be run on these operating systems with specific manual adjustments. Core Functionality

- Windows 10 kills support for the old FT232R chip. You need to roll back the driver to version 2.8.24.0 or solder a jumper on the PCB to force legacy mode.
7. Should You Upgrade WinOLS?
- Insert your WinOLS hardware key.
- Open Device Manager → Look for an unknown device or “Aladdin HASP” with a yellow triangle.
- Right-click → Update driver → Browse my computer → Let me pick from a list → Select “HASP Key” or “SafeNet USB Key.”
- If the driver isn’t found, download and install Sentinel HASP/LDK Run-time Environment (version 7.60 or older works best with WinOLS 2.24).
