- Metal Slug Anthology (2007) - Released for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable, and Wii, it includes Metal Slug, Metal Slug 2, Metal Slug 3, and Metal Slug 4. This collection does not include Metal Slug 5, 6, or 7.
- Metal Slug Complete (2010) - A compilation for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 (as part of the PlayStation Classics) that includes Metal Slug, Metal Slug 2, Metal Slug 3, Metal Slug 4, and Metal Slug 5. This collection stops at Metal Slug 5.
- Metal Slug: First 3 games (2014) - A more recent compilation, available on various platforms, focusing on the first three games.
If you hate Steam’s launcher, GoG.com offers the same ACA NEOGEO titles completely DRM-free. You can buy Metal Slug 1-5 + X individually. Unfortunately, GOG does not carry Metal Slug XX or Metal Slug 6 . You will have to supplement with Steam or physical media for the later titles. For a "1234567x" collection, GOG alone falls short.
